*REGISTRATION DEADLINE - FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7!*Learn about forensics, searching for evidence, and gathering clues!  This class will provide you with all you need to become your very own Crime Scene Investigator!  Mysteries will be solved by science experiments, chemical analyses, and observation.  You will even bring home your very own fingerprint classification sheet!  Come ready with your thinking caps!** If you register for both the CSI- - Crime Scene Investigation Class & the Chemical Creations Class, please pack a lunch as supervision will be provided.

*REGISTRATION DEADLINE - FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7!*You will make and take home a wide assortment of doodads and formations that you created all on your own.  Generate your own growing cube and make a shiny clean penny!  Make your very own UV bracelet and watch it react to the sun.  Learn all about energy and molecules, create a crazy bouncy glob from glue, and some scary green slime! Watch snow being created and feel how cold it is!  Experience a really powerful magnet, a cool blue light, a soda explode, and many other exciting experiments in this fascinating and educational workshop!** If you register for both the Chemical Creations Class & the CSI – Crime Scene Investigation Class, please pack a lunch as supervision will be provided.

A  yoga practice that is good for your body and mind now and years from now. Movements and poses designed to promote joint health, functional mobility, strength and overall well-being. Taught by Terri Vogel, 200 hr. RYT, FRCms (Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist).  Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle, towel, 2 yoga blocks (if you have them) and yoga mat to class. Class will be held at the Academy Building in Cushing Memorial Park.

We are on a mission to get young eaters cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients!  This class will focus on giving children the skills needed while introducing them to ingredients that will make quick, healthy dishes that they can cook for the entire family.  Kids have food allergies, but that doesn’t mean they should miss out on this fun new class!  We can work around allergies, making sure everyone is having fun and staying safe.  (*Food allergies/restrictions must be disclosed during registration)

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM    Archery - Archery - Winter Session II - Beginner & Intermediate
Learn the martial art sport of archery! Participants will use traditional recurve bows and arrows provided to experience this unique all-inclusive Olympic sport that increases focus, hand eye coordination and muscle memory through repetition and practice. Physical benefits include muscle memory, posture alignment and balance and archery is a great individual sport that offers a healthy alternative to traditional team competitive sports. Archers will learn the fundamentals in simplified steps of the shot process in the beginner section and then further develop their skills with more in-depth instruction in session II for intermediates. All equipment is provided and no prior experience necessary! Passionate instructors lead each lesson and coach through group demonstration and individualized attention.

** Lessons are held at the Longfellow Tennis Club in Wayland  (524 Boston Post Road, Wayland MA 01778)** 6 weeks beginning March 1st - April 5, 2020 * PLEASE NOTE - Some Dates, Age Categories / Class Names may have changed from what you have participated in before. *RED BALL JR. - 4 & 5 yrs (with no experience)RED BALL I/II - 5 yrs (with experience) - 7 yrs (with no experience)RED BALL III - 7 yrs (with experience) & 8yrsThis is an opportunity for you child to learn the fundamentals of the sport. Lessons will focus on coordination of gross motor skills to accelerate skill development and basic stroke production.ORANGE BALL - 9 & 10 yrsAn opportunity for students to sharpen their skills and build confidence as they learn to rally and learn the difference dimensions to their game such as directional control, spin an depth. GREEN BALL - 11 & 12 yrsThis level is designed for students who can cover a full size court comfortably. At this stage, students will continue to refine their technical and tactical fundamentals. HIGH SCHOOL (Yellow Ball) - 13 - 17 yrs.Lessons are designed for students that are playing at the high school level. A competitive yet fun environment for all student athletes at the high school level.

A  yoga practice that is good for your body and mind now and years from now. Movements and poses designed to promote joint health, functional mobility, strength and overall well-being. Taught by Terri Vogel, 200 hr. RYT, FRCms (Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist).  Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle, towel, 2 yoga blocks (if you have them) and yoga mat to class. Class will be held at the Academy Building in Cushing Memorial Park.

Learn the martial art sport of archery! Participants will use traditional recurve bows and arrows provided to experience this unique all-inclusive Olympic sport that increases focus, hand eye coordination and muscle memory through repetition and practice. Physical benefits include muscle memory, posture alignment and balance and archery is a great individual sport that offers a healthy alternative to traditional team competitive sports. Archers will learn the fundamentals in simplified steps of the shot process in the beginner section and then further develop their skills with more in-depth instruction in session II for intermediates. All equipment is provided and no prior experience necessary! Passionate instructors lead each lesson and coach through group demonstration and individualized attention.

A  yoga practice that is good for your body and mind now and years from now. Movements and poses designed to promote joint health, functional mobility, strength and overall well-being. Taught by Terri Vogel, 200 hr. RYT, FRCms (Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist).  Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle, towel, 2 yoga blocks (if you have them) and yoga mat to class. Class will be held at the Academy Building in Cushing Memorial Park.

** Lessons are held at the Longfellow Tennis Club in Wayland (524 Boston Post Road, Wayland, MA 01778) ** 6 weeks beginning the week of March 1st - April 5, 2020BEGINNERThis class is for those who have not played before, or are just getting started. A player will learn all the basics of the game including: strokes, scoring, footwork, and tennis etiquette. Classes will include live ball hitting with other classmates, and personal stroke instruction.ADVANCED BEGINNER Build on skills taught in Beginner Tennis and learn how to comfortably play a game of tennis. The intermediate level will teach you how to rally with more consistent depth and placement. A great workout that will help you fine tune your strokes and improve your match play.

Basic Ballet poses and moves along with Creative movement, expression, and rhythm concepts will be taught to boys and girls.Class will be held at the Academy Bldg. in Cushing Memorial Park.  Please enter Cushing Park through Keefe Tech parking lot at 750 Winter Street, take an immediate left and follow signs to Academy Building (first brick building).Please wear comfortable clothes and have bare feet or ballet shoes.Please bring a water bottle to class.  ** Please note that this is a drop-off class.  If you plan on staying for the class, please be aware that we do not have the ability to separate the dancers from spectators.  We ask that you please be respectful to the instructor and keep distractions to a minimum.  If you must use your cell phone, please do so in the foyer of the building.  It is not recommended that siblings attend class as they are often a distraction to the dancers.

Learn the martial art sport of archery! Participants will use traditional recurve bows and arrows provided to experience this unique all-inclusive Olympic sport that increases focus, hand eye coordination and muscle memory through repetition and practice. Physical benefits include muscle memory, posture alignment and balance and archery is a great individual sport that offers a healthy alternative to traditional team competitive sports. Archers will learn the fundamentals in simplified steps of the shot process in the beginner section and then further develop their skills with more in-depth instruction in session II for intermediates. All equipment is provided and no prior experience necessary! Passionate instructors lead each lesson and coach through group demonstration and individualized attention.

** REGISTRATION FOR ADAPTIVE ICE SKATING WILL BEGIN MONDAY FEBRUARY 3, 2020 - FOR FRAMINGHAM RESIDENTS ONLY*** Non-Residents may register beginning Monday, February 10th providing space is still available *This adaptive skating program provides children, ages 5 - 22 years, with special needs the opportunity to participate in sports and active recreation in a fun and safe environment.  This program promotes the learning of new skills, social opportunities and moderate to vigorous physical activity to maintain and improve health and fitness.  We utilize equipment such as skate walkers and sleds.  Helmets are mandatory (not provided - please see guidelines below). New skills include flip turns, alternating kicks for treading water, tuck and pike surface dives, throwing rescues, and turning a spinal injured victim face-up. LEVEL 7 - ADVANCED SKILLS This course will emphasize whole stroke skills in order to swim more efficiently, with more ease, relaxation, smoothness, and for greater distance. Rescue techniques and introduction to advanced rescue skills will be taught.

Learn the martial art sport of archery! Participants will use traditional recurve bows and arrows provided to experience this unique all-inclusive Olympic sport that increases focus, hand eye coordination and muscle memory through repetition and practice. Physical benefits include muscle memory, posture alignment and balance and archery is a great individual sport that offers a healthy alternative to traditional team competitive sports. Archers will learn the fundamentals in simplified steps of the shot process in the beginner section and then further develop their skills with more in-depth instruction in session II for intermediates. All equipment is provided and no prior experience necessary! Passionate instructors lead each lesson and coach through group demonstration and individualized attention.

SWIM LESSON REGISTRATION BEGINS MONDAY, JANUARY 27, 2020!! Swim Lessons will run SATURDAYS, March 7 - April 4Students should be able to swim 4 lengths of the pool (100 yards), without stopping, prior to entering Level 6** THIS IS A COMBINED CLASS - LEVEL 6 & LEVEL 7 LEVEL 6 - SKILL PROFICIENCY The purpose of this course is to develop maximum efficiency and endurance for all strokes. New skills include flip turns, alternating kicks for treading water, tuck and pike surface dives, throwing rescues, and turning a spinal injured victim face-up. LEVEL 7 - ADVANCED SKILLS This course will emphasize whole stroke skills in order to swim more efficiently, with more ease, relaxation, smoothness, and for greater distance. Rescue techniques and introduction to advanced rescue skills will be taught.
