** REGISTRATION BEGINS ** ** MONDAY, OCTOBER 15th  @  9:00am **  (non-residents may begin registering 10/16/18) Framingham's Winter Swim Team is a recreational swim team that competes in the Suburban Swim League.  Practices and home swim meets are held at Keefe Tech School located at 750 Winter Street, Framingham.  Focus is on good sportsmanship, improvement, and having fun!  Open to swimmers ages 6-18 years.  All new swimmers to the Winter Swim Team MUST be evaluated.Please find IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS in the "ADDITIONAL FORMS AND FILES" section below.It is your responsibility to PRINT OUT THESE DOCUMENTS WHEN REGISTERING.  The Behavior Policy, initial practice times, team meetings, team apparel sizing, and evaluation information is included!!! Ages 5-12 Loring Arena- 165 Fountain Street Beginning January 5- February 9, 2019 9:00 – 9:50am   (Session 1)  OR    10 – 10:50am (Session 2) $48 per child / $53 per non-resident   Skaters will choose either 9:00am OR 10:00am class at registration. Each 50 minute class is structured to include a 10-minute warm-up, 30 minutes of instruction, and 10 minutes to practice.   A class listing will be posted at the  rink, please check for your child's assignment.   OBJECTIVES:          1. To teach proper, basic skating skills in a fun atmosphere.                               2. Provide personal pleasure, satisfaction and fun in skating.                               3. Provide informal instruction for the recreational skater. BEGINNERThis class is for those who have not played before, or are just getting started. A player will learn all the basics of the game including: strokes, scoring, footwork, and tennis etiquette. Classes will include live ball hitting with other classmates, and personal stroke instruction.ADVANCED BEGINNER Build on skills taught in Beginner Tennis and learn how to comfortably play a game of tennis. It is never too early to spark our little children's interest in the fields of Science, Technology, engineering, and Math!  It is during these early years when children start to wonder, ask, thing, explore, and discover things around them.  With each class, the children will learn STEM concepts through hands-on activities, engaging stories, music and movement, challenges, and even simple experiments made for little hands!  Class will be held in the Middle Building - next to the Academy Building in Cushing Memorial Park.
