This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Framingham's own Special Olympics Program, the MetroWest Flyers, will be fielding a Bocce Team in Summer 2023!

Framingham Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the Special Olympics, provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, prepare for entry into school and community programs, demonstrate joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendships with their families, other Special Olympics Athletes, and the community.

The MetroWest Flyers Bocce Team is designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities aged 10 and up.  This opportunity will help your athlete build a sense of community, make lifelong friends, and promote healthy activities in a fun, friendly, and competitive environment.
