Pottery Class with Community Kiln @ Brick Stack Arts Center

BEGINNER WHEELTHROWING
This class is for students with little or no experience using the potter's wheel.  Beginners will learn basic skills such as wedging clay, centering on the wheel, and forming fundamental shapes such as mugs, bowls, plates, and vases.  

CLASSES RUN:
     - Sundays, 9/20 - 11/29 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm
     - Fridays, 9/25 - 12/4 from 9:00am - 12:00pm


INTERMEDIATE WHEELTHROWING
Improve and build upon your basic knowledge and technique.  This class will focus on advanced throwing techniques, complex forms, and surface duration.

CLASSES RUN:
     - Thursdays, 9/24 - 12/3 from 10:00am - 1:00pm
     - Thursdays 9/24 - 12/3 from 6:30pm - 9:30pm


ALL LEVELS WHEELTHROWING
This class is for students of any level!  Join us if you have little or no experience using the potter's wheel, or if you've been doing it for years!  Both basic and advanced skills will be taught as well as increasing knowledge of glazing.  A great class to learn from your teacher and peers!  

CLASSES RUN:
     - Mondays, 9/21 - 11/30 from 6:30pm - 9:30pm
     - Tuesdays, 9/22 - 11/24 from 10:00am - 1:00pm
     - Tuesdays, 9/22 - 11/24 from 6:30pm - 9:30pm


HANDBUILDING
Beginners will learn basic handbuilding skills such as slab, coil, and pinch pots, and all students will refine techniques, surface treatment, and finish options.  More advanced students will dig into their own personal style by exploring more complex forms.  

CLASSES RUN:
     - Wednesdays, 9/23 - 12/2 from 9:30am - 1:30pm
     - Wednesdays, 9/23 - 9:30pm
